Simon Boswell

Born in Kingston, Surrey, UK.
Grew up in Bristol. Educated at Bristol Grammar School.
BSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
Diploma for the Teaching of English as a Second or Foreign Language at Aston University in Birmingham
Has lived in Finland for more than half his life earning his living as an English teacher.
Studied composition at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Einojuhani Rautavaara.
Now holds the permanent full-time lectureship in English at the Sibelius Academy, teaching subject-specific English courses (music terminology & vocabulary) for music students.
Simon is married and has three children: Roy, Emily & the youngest, Daniel (9).
